It’s your employer’s legal obligation to ensure that the operator of powered access equipment is trained. This is detailed within the follows Regulations:

Absolutely! You will have the option to add this to your hire request online. Or, when you call us, just ask. We have them ready and waiting. Remember, we provide IPAF harness training at several training centres across the country.
We care about your safety. It’s not a legal requirement to use a harness, however we would strongly recommend it! The HSE (Health and Safety Executive) and IPAF (the International Powered Access Federation) advises that a full body harness and adjustable lanyard are utilised, adjusted as short as possible to provide work restraint, particularly when working from a boom lift.

Submit a hire request online which will go directly to the inbox of the X-Hire team. For powered access or tower, we recommend you using the selector tool on the home page. You can easily add products to your basket by selecting the dates you require them for and clicking the ‘Hire Now’ button on any product page. When you are done, click on the basket icon at the top right of the page and provide a few essential details. Then submit the request! Our online hire inbox is monitored all day, every day. We will respond with your quotation as quickly as possible.
